A Team Turbo's are now available!

Is this a complete kit with all related gaskets, clamps, hoses, fittings, etc? When I order one, I need to know what other parts I need to order because my local suppliers don't stock anything, and my truck can't be down for more than a day.

You need to supply two 3/4 heater hose clamps, everything else comes in the kit. You also may want to have two 2.5 inch hose clamps on hand just in case your old connector clamps will not tighten all the way down on the new hose. Like I told you, you will never be more than a phone call away from help.

Just let me know when you are ready. You wont be disappointed, that I know for sure.

Here is a video of an installed A Team Turbo, and it runs and sounds great!

Do the Mitsubishi or the ATT turbo manufacturers have CARB (California Air Resources Board) approval for a different vehicle? The reason I ask is every diesel 1998 or newer in CA must be smogged as many of you have seen Big T's previous posts about his issues getting it done. If they were approved for another application we can get a carb approval sticker and slap it on there and probably won't have an issue. If they aren't how easy would it be to fab it up and make it look like it is being operated by the vacuum pump? It is just a visual inspection checking for the vacuum pump and excess smoke.

I had mine smogged back in January and had no problems getting it done.

Because of my vin I don't need to get mine done till next year which means they will have many more under their belts and may be more educated on what they're looking at.

Son took mine to the neighborhood shop. They do all their work trucks there. Mine was just part of the program.

Since the GM turbo has no sticker on it, I doubt unless someone who knows what kind of turbo the truck came with, (does the inspection station have a photo of the turbo the truck came with ???) ; would know if a replacement turbo had been incorporated into the truck if they saw it.

As far as I know no CARB testing has been done with the ATT or TD-07, so unless you told the inspector it had a different turbo I'd run with it, or if really worried save the GM-turbo just in case it somehow got rejected you could re-install it if needed to pass smog check, ATT will smoke more than the GM turbo at first but then clears once at speed as does a GM turbo but less with the GM.

A lot of test result will be dependent upon the test itself, how it is run and tune in the PCM, stock tune will smoke less than a performance one.

The sticker is on the Airbox. It shows a diagram specifying a belt driven vacuum pump in the system. If they note that it's not there, they could fail you. Save the stock turbo and vac pump. Couple hours every two years, no big deal.

That is wholly different sticker/issue IMO depending on ones creativity, if looking what is on the GM sticker is what has to happen is what inspector goes by that is easily remedied.

X2 if just an issue every 2 years, yeah maintain the capability of going reverse ATT, only takes maximum an hour to swap back to GM turbo from ATT one.
