Thanks for your support everyone, and of course, thanks to our own Slim Shady and Turbine Doc for developing this supreme turbocharger for our rigs.

Even if your turbo is fine, this turbo would pay for itself with better fuel efficiency. Not to mention, lower IAT, EGT and boost. A simple no-brainer was never more obvious.

http://www.walkingjdesigns.com Normal price is $769, but the only folks exposed to the site right now are my friends from the DTR, so the price is $745.

How about some pictures of ATT installs?

I was going to get one this year.... Until my heads were cracked beyond belief. Now the money for the turbo has gone to buy a new set of heads maybe next year...:icon_bs:

Your discount code box doesn't work... stays grayed out in IE8 (Internet Explorer totally sucks, I know).

I've changed the price to reflect the discount code. Sorry for the trouble. I'll be working out the discount code issue with my host. Thanks for the update!

Its about time the AT has gotten out into the world. Well, without going ballastically overboard, THE A TEAM TURBO IS INCREDIBLE. Here's a few pictures to drool over:D:D:D:D):h):h):h

Am I too slow for that $745 price? I'm sitting on the fence now and really ain't sure what side of it I'll end up on. I already have plans on stretching my credit on a lot of maintenance parts for the front end. BUT it would be so nice to balance out all the wrench time spent on maintenance with a little bit spent on upgrades as well.

I guess if I forget the interest on the credit card the turbo would pay for itself by way of mileage increse in less then two years time sooo, it isn't just a "fun part" either..

Any ideas what mileage increase I could get going from all stock to ATT and turbo back exhaust(heavier foot not considered)?

I'm itchin' in my draw fingers but I should probably wait a lil' more. I have so much stuff on order I'll be wrenchin till christmas (if I'm not struck by a lightning of mechanical insight that is)..

Do you have a compressor map for the turbo? Just out of curiosity. I would be curious to run the numbers on it versus a GM-8.

Also I wonder if this would bump up the usable RPM on the 6.5?

... Give me a month or two and I will be all over one of these. Work is still slow, but picking up for some reason.

Thanks,

10% of about how much on average before the switch?

Most people see between 1 to 3 mpg increase in fuel economy. Now this depends on driving habits age of the IP,(Injector Pump), injectors and a few other variables.

The MUST have to make the most of your A-Team Turbo is a free flowing exhaust. The rest can come after that, I recommend a chip if you want the full benefits to your engine and the fuel modifications Pump and feed the beast, this can all come in time. I also recommend the -1.94, or -1.50 TDC offset in the electrical DS4 pump.

The Turbo also works good on the DB2 pump with a free flowing exhaust. The base timing and the advance ramp on the pump need a little tweaking to get the most out of your setup. Most people don't know that you can adjust the advance / retard timing ramp to get a little different profile.

This project was done to give our truck the best all around performance / towing. The way the truck was mean to be manufactured. These motors love to breath: they run well up in the 2000 to 3200 rpm range. The fuel economy suffers measurably when above the 2400 rpm mark. At least this has been my experience.

I know Oregon Horse Tug has been running a chip that was tweaked by Heath for the larger turbo. I have been running a Heath HP-4 and have been happy with it. I may try the chip tweaked for the turbo.

Bill heath has had one of the original Mitzubushi turbos for over a year, but technical difficulties and weather have prevented him from installing it. We had hoped to have made a deal to market the turbo through him however I have no control over those circumstances, so we struck out on our own.

The A-Team Turbo was tweaked to get the best all around performance. The manufacturer and I made a deal, I don't ask for their technical data and manufacturing secrets and they don't ask what I am using this in.

Neither one is then tempted to use the others data to ruin the relationship.

I doubt someone can purchase a new turbo designed for our truck with custom machining work and hand made TIG welded down pipes and all the necessary installation pieces needed for less money, with the same quality. The turbos and the kit are top of the line quality parts not cobbled up junk that will fail on you.

All our pieces and turbos are hand assembled and inspected before they even get packaged. My phone number comes with each so you can talk with me direct at any time of the day or night.

Any product can fail but if you strive to meet factory durability requirments then you have a quality product. A-Team Turbo will not sell junk or skimp on the pieces used in our kit. We strive for durablity under sustained use, not short term gain and long term failure.

I have had my share of life and been given a second chance by the Lord, I will not ruin this chance. I will never cheat or decieve anyone for any reason.

And I have done so, on a Sunday, and got an immediate, polite, and helpful answer.

Is this a complete kit with all related gaskets, clamps, hoses, fittings, etc? When I order one, I need to know what other parts I need to order because my local suppliers don't stock anything, and my truck can't be down for more than a day.
