It seems the Chevy gods have a vendetta against me.
Some times it shifts fine for a short while.other times the Truck isn't downshifting properly..from a dead stop is will take off in second gear or third.. I replaced the brake light switch since I broke the old one changing the hydroboost. (AC Delco..) I was told that has something to do with the down shifting also..new one makes a loud clicking sound sometimes..don't know if that's normal or not. Changed tranny fluid and filter about 15 or 20000 ago..I will mention ( only because of cruise control being on same switch) that occasionally when I turn my wipers on and put them on high then go to turn them off they will not turn off.. another problem occasionaly the turn signals on one side of the truck will flash extremely fast like there's a bad bulb but there isn't a bad bulb. Does it for a short while then it goes away and things go back to normal.. same with the wipers.. again I only mentioned that those two things because the cruise control is hooked into that switch and a switch I believed plugs into the brake light switch which controls downshifting also if I understand correctly.. totally lost on this one

My windshield wipers do the same thing. Sometimes they work like they should and sometimes when I cut them off they stay on for a little while until they decide to cut off. Hitting the steering column works for me sometimes and sometimes it don’t.

I know that the coolant temp sensor in the tstat crossover affects torque converter lockup and overdrive but I wonder if it also affects the other gears to.

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: You mean this one? Just click on the smiley face upper right corner of the Reply Box tool header. It will open up to dozens of emojis to chose from.

I took it as since he is using a iPhone then he don’t have the emojis on the site.

I use a iPhone and I see the emoji icon on the site.

Lol.. no I have a duraforce pro. It's Android. I Never touch the little icons above the reply box cause I don't know what they do and don't want to screw something up...lol remember I'm tech challenged. I honestly don't understand half the stuff y'all say. Especially when you start abbreviating stuff or using initials like i.p. or iirc ... although I do know those ones...

Don’t be afraid to ask- if these guys can put up with me, they can help the couple of things your missing!

When responding, click the smiley face and a bunch show up then click the one you want.

On abbreviations just type it with a ? Like:
ip or Lp ?
Then we can say- ip= injection pump and Lp = Lift pump.
I hate tech so bad, I miss my corded house phone with a dial!

Lol I'd love to go back to the days of corded house phones..and no cells.... used to get so much done in a day...used to be able check messages when u got home, then catch up with people...
And if there was a emergency during the day .....ehhh the cops will come find you and give you a ride.

:banghead::brb:..wow awesome assortment of emojis.... I've GOT to figure out how to get them on my regular emoji board on my phone..

I wonder why some of us have to click on the gear to get to the emojis aNd some of us can just click right on the emojis. It might be a setting that @BoostN can look into
