My old transmission went out in my 93 suburban 1500 4x4. I had a shop pull the transmission, told them i was going to put the new one in to save me $600 but they never gave me any bolts back other than 4 bolts from transmission tail to transfer case adapter! i was wondering if anybody knows where i could get the all the bolts or have the specs for them cause i really dont want to go and measure each bolt hole.

Unfortunately some are metric, some are sae. You only need to check one, they are all the same if you don't care about the ones with the stud on the back of the bolt head. I replaced mine for regular ones. Only shooting from the hip here- try 3/8 -16 x 1 1/2". Anyone have some handy to measure?

Anybody know where to get the covers that go over the u-joints? And what about starter bolts? Checker's and auto zone only had transmission to cross member bolts.

For the starter bolts gets 2 from the dealer. Only about $5 each, (I just bought 2 a couple weeks ago)- poor fitting starter bolts can break the ear of the block off. Also make sure the little "L" shape bracket is on the back of the starter, missing that will cause the same thing.
