88 c30 auto to manual

Im converting my 88 c30 to a manual and I've got everything done besides putting the tranny in. I have a 77 sm465 and all of the other stuff is off of a 83. Is there a difference between a 70s model sm465 and a 80s model sm465? Want to make sure theres not gonna be a problem before I fight getting it in

You should have no problem. The drive line length may be different, longer I think. Depends on your transfer case choice also.
