88-98 Chevy/GMC guys.....

Here's something to chew on. I have a C2500 (2wd) and had a grill guard made for my truck. He said on the phone "oh it'll work, the c/k trucks are the same".
Well i had my check for $700 in my hand and when he put it up to my truck it didn't fit..... lame..... something about my frame in the front bends up and angles instead of going straight out bla bla bla.....

C/K trucks are the same, doesn't matter you can take a 4X4 bumper straight off and slap it on a 2X4 no problem the brackets are the same too. Maybe your bracket's are bent? I have never worked on a C/k where the bumper brackets aren't bent usually just order new ones they are cheap.

Hey Bill you are finally paying attention to the old GMT400 trucks huh? You may finally get one of your bumpers on my truck... I do need a winch seeing as I get stuck on ant hills pretty often. If you need a truck for the photo shoot let me know I have an old 454 who likes to have her picture taken.

However they are is how it came from gm. Not sure why it didnt fit.....probably didnt know what he was talking about

I want to make one out an I beam and box it in, handrail tubing, and industrial grating. Should be a deer killer for sure lol. I'm gonna make a DMI style rear just as soon as I get dimensions to get stuff cut out on the burn table at work... Definitely interesting idea you have here though, I had thought of marketing my own and then I find this lol

I don't think he even works for Iron bull anymore...if you read the first post carefully you will see he needed a minimum # of commits/deposits to build something similar to what he showed you...the one in the picture is a road armor...
