Yes I have. Until I read the OP, I had not considered what brand of fuel it was, BUT the color was green so it MAY have been BP. It ruined my day, and cost me a grand by taking it to a dealer. I know now that I got ripped off, but I the time, I thought it was much more serious and might ruin the engine.

Never to date. That doesn't mean I won't have a Senior moment tomorrow and do it. :rolleyes5:

I hate BP for changing the cover color other than what everyone else is using so, i avoid buying my diesel from BP. In my area Racetrac has diesel available at every pump.:) And their prices are very competitive in the area. i try to support them as they have made a serious commitment to the diesel commun ity and I appreciate it. All of our road cars/trucks are diesel.:D

I did it at a Sunoco; filled it up and was putting the nozzle away before I noticed. I was really sick (before I did it) that night and probably shouldn't have been driving. Fortunately my wife was with me and she called for a tow truck who took the truck to a truck stop and us home. I was lucky that all this happened less that a mile from home.
