6.5TD has its own page??

Thanks Tim.

Some of that mentioned could apply to every diesel parts seller around...lol

Do any reflashes or "marine" injectors really produce the HP claimed?

Like I said, I haven't had a lot of dealings with him, but I always thought that he was more of a 6.5 enthusiast....of course, I guess those pix of his trucks could have been photoshoped. oh well, thanks again for the clarification.

My understanding is that he offers both a 40hp and 80hp chip. But I've never seen a dyno sheet from it. Never. Not once. Even the people who bought it from him. And like Tim said, the 80hp chip is bogus. And I'll take his word for it cause that's all I've heard.

The marine injectors are Bogus as well. +40hp is a joke. Most of us here know that the stock 6.5 injectors can flow more fuel than our pumps can maxed out. Its best described as "someone who had there injectors for 120,000 miles, needed new ones and used Walts Marine injectors." To them, it will FEEL like 40 more hp just suddenly sprang up out of nowhere. Get where I'm coming from?

Late comer to the 6.5 world like many of us, many "borrowed ideas" made his own presented as his new innovations, good marketing tool, at one time I tried to understand him, let's just say we never got beyond point of agreeing to disagree.

Bill H & I have differing opinions as well; 2 "gear heads" in same tool box will have 2 different solutions/opinions which is okay & yet we remain as friends, Walt & I never got that far no respect for differing opinion.

That name seems familiar. Was he, by chance, over at the place? I recall someone with a user name like that(or very similar to it) that always caused trouble over there. Never really seemed to support the 6.5. I don't recall him "bashing" it per-say, but his avatar was a tan Cummins short block and he jumped on every chance to suggest ditching the 6.5 to go to something else(especially the Cummins).

Am I thinking of the same person or is it just another knuckle head?

Same guy. He was here for awhile until we gave up and sent him packing.

Walt promoted the use of an override with the old WAP plugs....wiped mine out in a hell of a hurry...

After contacting WAP directly, found out that the override is a no-no and was purely bad advice from Walt...

Yup...I fell for it but didn't get the "Feeling" from the marine injectors. I chalked it up to having not having an upgraded exhaust and cross over. Once I had those installed, things felt a little better but I knew it wasn't the injectors. In short, the only feeling I knew I had was that of having screwed up. :mad2: My fault. Then I replaced the injectors with stock remanned Bosch units...got the feeling finally. Looking forward to the ATT and reflash.

Walt is ok to buy certain things from that other vendors don't carry such as the last ditch screen and small stuff like that but otherwise I think he has been pretty much summed up. Mikey continues to bash 6.5s at the Garage as well. Last update his tranny wouldn't shift(probably bad VSS) and it needed a starter after he finally bought a TM . He now decommsioned it and is building somekind of Jeep body Dodge chassis abortion. I can't figure him out at all. He would PM me all the tme and be a perfect gentleman asking for help but then go off on tirades in the forum despite my private lectures. He was also kicked off Steel Soldiers. I honestly believe he has a drinking problem and gets on the PC drunk and posts.
