6.5L Drag Race

I decided to take my truck to the last test and tune of the season here. Ran a 17.1. Which is slower than I expected but I also bogged hard on the start. It usually never smokes at all under a good hard launch. It was my first drag run ever. So I'm sure there's ton of room for improvement, plus having a manual trans doesn't help things. Had a 0.334 reaction time. But there is going to be some serious mods going on soon so should be able to cut a ton of time off next season.

Fun. What was your speed? Was the Ford a support vehicle? It looked like it smoked much more following you?

Trap Speed was 83mph. And not a support vehicle. That was my buddy in his modded 7.3L. He spun hard off the line. But off the track he is faster than me. His trap was 85mph.

Anytime. Though not very fast, it was extremely fun to just get out there and mess around.
