So I have been working on my 1985 Chevy K30 Crew Cab Short Bed conversion now for about 8 months. I finally decided to stay with the 6.5L motor and having the axles fitted with 4.56 gears. So unless a complete rebuildable "599" motor comes my way I found a "599" short block at one of the local machine shops. :)

After doing research for the better part of the year on engines, I have decided on the following...for now. I am sure the list will grow and get tweaked a little.

Scat crank
Mahle pistons
Head studs
Clearwater cylinder heads, maybe GEP (we'll see)
Duratherm glow plugs
Bosch hi output injectors
Turned up DB2-4911 injector pump
ATT turbo
