4L80e maintenance items

I'm finally getting back to my project. Question. I've got an old 1991 4L80e that was working fine when pulled, but has been sitting for 10 years. I went ahead and replaced the pump seal and upgraded the wiring connector. Are there any other easily replaced parts that I should replace before putting it back in service? Seals, shift solenoids, etc? Thanks.

If it's been sitting for 10 years, I would be hesitant to put ot back into service without pulling it apart and putting a seal and rubber kit in it. Thats a long time for rubber parts to sit dry, get hard, and then tend to fail and leak when put back into service.

Maybe I should just have it gone through then. It's so hard to find a guy transmission guy though.

Check around the drag racing circuit out there. Guys that build trans for drag cars usually do descent on the 4l80
