This is a company truck, a Chevy gasser van/chassy. Trans was redone about 4 months ago, Im sure has 10-20k on it since complete rebuild. Was being driven down the road and lost drive. Fluid was about 2 quarts low, I got first gear back and it never lost reverse. Is it toast? What should I check out?

I have injecter-itis
Ok lets revive this one. Mine is doing the same thing. 1st gear and reverse thats it. It keeps throwing 81,82,83,84. Fluid level is fine doesnt smell burnt either. There was no warning just one morning it decided it wasn't going to shift anymore. I cant find anything wrong with the wiring or plugs. I went through the GM manual and flow charts for codes but need to have tech 1 to command solenoids to work to check them. Any body have any ideas?????????????? Need to get her up quick weather is nice and trying to move some hay and cant get the jobs done.
