4L60e in a 95 6.5TD ???

My 94 1500 6.5 "turbo" has a 4L60E.

Never heard of the 4L60E in a 2500 &^ though. $1000 to me is to much unless he will do R&I. Check Craigs list.
I bought my 4L80E for $400 a known working trans. Just grabed it for a spare.

Well sorry guys I gave wrong info. The 94 does have a 4L80E after all. Thats great news as far as Im conserned. This 1/2 ton really is a heavy duty son of a witch.

whic even further makes me question what the junkyard has. Thing is this, even at 1K with warranty, the compushift is another 1200$ and at that point I am just about up to the price of a GV which would involve no computer..

For what its worth, the CATS database I have has no listing of an L56 or L65 RPO with the tranny RPO of M30 which is 4L60E. It does for several 1994 and 1995 L49 (N/A) models. A lot of people assume a 1/2 ton has 4L60E because its light duty, and the same truck with a 350 gasser had 4L60E.

Not overhaul, just trying to get more driveabilty. Truck is screaming on the highway at 55 mph. The Burb has the same problem but I got a th700 in the Jimmy I may rebuild and swAP IN. I know they are junk but for the burb it will be ok.
