Since it's finally Nice Out, and the Monsoon is over, I was finally able to Change Out the HID Bulbs in my Fog Lights. They came with 6k's in them, but I Wanted 4300k in them, since 4300k is the Brightest. I've had the 4300k Bulbs since '09 but it was just too Cold to Work on the Truck.

When I got these Fogs, I Asked the Seller if the Bulbs could be Changed. They said no, they can't, but since they are HID, they will never Burn Out, so that's why they are not Replaceable.

So I Ordered them up, and as soon as I got them, I took them Apart. 6 Screws Later, and they were Open, the Bulb is a basic H3 HID Shorty Bulb, but the Ballast can not come out, it's Potted Inside the Lamp Housing.

So Today, I took them Off the Truck, Opened them Up, Swapped out the 6k's with the 4300k's, Trimmed about 3mm off the Ring that Holds Down the Bulbs, because the New ones are Slightly Different than the ones, that were in there.

Plugged everything back In, put it all back On, Hit the Button and BOOM! Light so Bright & White, it Hurt to Look at them.

Here's a Day Shot, but when I gets Dark Out, I gotta go Re-Aim them, so I'll get a Night Shot. The Pic WITHOUT the Headlights on are with the 6k Bulbs. You can See how much more Color they have (less Light Output).

It's Crazy how Bright it is now.

The 6k was getting Absorbed by alot of the Darker Objects along the Road, so it wasn't really Illuminating them like I Wanted.

But with the 4300k, EVERYTHING is Nice, White, and Visible.

Before my 4300k Lows would Wash Out some of the 6k right Infront on the Truck, but now, you can't even tell the Lows are on when the Fogs (not really Fogs, I Use them as High Beams or During Bad Weather in the Day Time. WAY too Bright to use with On-Coming Traffic at Night) are.
