We have been hearing and seeing a lot lately that new parts don’t always mean good parts. There are several members on here that are having trouble with new parts. I would do the warranty like said above first and then go from there

Only use ac delco. Pull the distributor and replace the pickup coil and ignition module at the same time. Another thing I've seen lately is coils that have loose fitting plugs. The pins don't fit in tightly, and they lose connection. Wiggle the wires and it starts right up. I've to take the plugs that go into the coil, and take the actual pins that slide in, and put a wave into them to make them fit tightly. The pins are supposed to be straight and flat, but with the loose plugs, I've had to put a slight wave in them so they will tighten up inside the coil.
