i saw a video, i think it was on here in the P&R section about gangsters that were in prison. they said that their biggest threat wasnt the police, or jail, or anyhting like that, but the law abiding citizen that is carrying. because they dont know if that person that they are about to mug is carrying, and if they are, boy are you in for a suprise!

One unconcealed, one concealed, AR-15 w/ 70 rounds and Shotgun w/ 12 rounds of slugs above my head in the truck......while on duty at least.

Off duty, I usually limit myself to one concealed :D

I carry conceal, makes for a interesting traffic stop when it is laying on the front seat....happened only once

This week's poll question comes from MAGNUM SERVICES and SFC_Cobb: Do you carry a firearm? If you don't - but would if you could - what's keeping you from carrying? If you carry, why?

My CCW Permit is pending. I will once I have it except at my work where it's not permitted. As for why ? Well ...There are alot of sick people in the world.
As far as the house. 2 cases 12ga and 1500 rounds of .556FMJ for "Mr AR".
Wifey actually wants to get one.

I can't carry in my work car due to company policies. With the new laws, I could but it's not worth the hassles and paperwork to make it worth while. Every other vehicle, yeah. Home - the fire department doesn't want to come to my house if it catches fire! I was in the fire department for years and they all know what's here.

I do still have my Sheriff's commission though. No CCW.

That's one of the good things about Georgia. Last year legislation passed giving you the right to have a firearm in your vehicle even when it's on private property. An employer can not prevent you for having a firearm in your personal vehicle. Your right to protect yourself to and from work is greater than their desire for you to unarm.

I have an Idaho CCW, converted my previous Florida CCW (that I've had since 1982) to non-resident. When I'm on the site in the desert (mostly there 4-10s Monday through Thursday) I cannot carry firearms or ammunition within the security perimeter. Nights and weekends off the job, I am packing concealed, either on/inside the belt or in an appropriate tactical outer garment.
