I like old school pipes on trucks as racks,roll bars, etc. that sux.

I also still cant get over the front bumper hanging that low on an "off road truck". Approach angle. Anyone ever heard of that? Wth?

Fuel Efficiency and aerodynamics, bruh. If you wanna go off road, throw a off road bumper on the biotch. For the 99% that hit a logging trail or a farm field at worst, they're fine.

Right. "Throw an off road bumper on..." A 4x4 should not need me to swap bumpers or other body parts. Idk farm fields or logging trails in the southwest. Here its trails, hills, mountains, dunes, etc.

A two wheel drive truck, I understand. It is dedicated to on road use. Or even packages like my wife's Escalade: full time all wheel drive for handling purposes. But it is not marketed as off road use.

I know, just being a smartass mostly. It's all for emissions and efficiency I'm sure. Same reason all the semi trailers have the tails and the shrouding underneath, etc...

Banks has had these engines for awhile now(must be nice having an in with there military contracts), heres a video they did showing all the "stuff" crammed on top of the new engine.
