yes wheel hop is one of the major reasons peole use a solid axle. the 2002 2003 mustang cobras had major isues with that at the track. My buddy had one and blew the rear end out of his car at the track because of the wheel hop, thus is the reason most guys that own the car and track them a lot put a solid axle in them.
