Greetings all

I have an 2008 Chevy Suburban 1500 4x4 LT,, and I love it

I would like to take the 40 gallon tank off of 2008 2500 Suburban to upgrade my own but I can't figure out if this is plausible at my skill level. Any 1st hand knowledge or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Welcome to the forum! I'm not familiar with the newer models, but would say to lookup your rig on rockauto and see what options are available, also look at some photos to compare the shape and where the tank straps are with your size tank and the 40 gallon one. it's very possible that the larger tank will fit without any modification. only maybe new tank straps might be needed if the tank is any taller or wider.

one thing is to look and see if there are other mounting points under your rig for the straps, threaded holes and what not that would fit in a wider tank.

others may chime in with more knowledge and experience soon.
