Karla took out a mailbox with the left tail light lens on her 2007 Tahoe. Any suggestions for a replacement source? GM parts direct says $88 for the LH lamp ass'y. Some aftermarket outfit http://www.1aauto.com/1A/TailLights..._campaign=gb_api_br&year=2007&utm_content=LTP says $118 for the pair. I want top quality stuff on it.

I'd be mad but she's sick over it and it's the first ding anywhere on it after 60k miles.

$88 for a GM piece isn't that bad. Probably what I'd buy.

To bad she wiped out.

Maybe a parts yard donor?

Yeah I think I'll call a dealer tomorrow and see what they want for an in stock one. If it's $105 or so that covers the GMPD $+shipping.

I'd just get a new GM one.

It's just a taillight, my dad and I break mirrors on the Duramax like nothing, LOL.

Replaced it today. Easy 15 min job. Got it Fedex yesterday from GMPD at $107 & change to the door. Of course I didn't need the harness, sockets and bulbs but that's how it came. Probably would have been $45 w/o the extras. Everything's a damn sub-ass'y these days.
