I have run any where from B-5 to B-100. Its smooth running and as per Spicer Report on DP its rated #1 for lubricity in diesel additive. Best of all, its least expensive.:willynilly:.
Steve
Ummmmmmmmhe said the name of THAT PLACE :nono:
LOL
Seriously, I read all through that report and where it came from and I could never find any CREDIBLE information linked to it. Was all done by one company and they were promoting THEIR product....specifically.
To each his own though, if you believe everything you read..... and no I am not trying to piss anyone off. Sorry before hand if I have or do![]()
Funny... SPICER has that report posted all over the 'net. A buddy of mine is real big into VW TDI's... so I joined over on the TDI forum to ask some stuff and such - interestingly, SPICER is a member over there too. And his Lubricity study has been a long-standing point of debate there too.
I only know Arlen from the "place"; I think he's a stand-up guy. My truck certainly likes bio; I've used it both as an additive and as a complete fuel. Really didn't notice much of an impact to mileage, though the only stuff I've used is B20. Unfortunately, you pay a premium price for the stuff in central KY. :nonod:
