1999 GMC Burb d/s rear door will not open

Well as it says the door will not open from inside or out the lock solenoid seems to actuate. I need to know how to get it open so I can fix it I'm thinking trying to move the lock rod with the window down any thoughts?
 
Well, I have removed the door panel and the power locks work, I applied some lube on everything inside the door.

I did notice the manual lock release on the door handle does not work if door is locked or unlocked the release cannot be moved manually.
 
I found little on the web and have concluded the lock solenoid is bad even though I have it working flawlessly since I lubed everything so I'm going to lube the c__p out of it's inside to see if it frees up enough to lock/unlock manually.
