6.5L 1995 Suburban with Optimizer & DB2

We are the original owners of this Suburban. The engine has been replaced with a 6500 Optimizer AMG engine with a DB2 injection pump. Details here

It developed a problem, details here

The body is in great shape, no rust or crash damage ever. Rare teal blue, rear tailgate, factory towing package. Is a 2 wheel drive 1500 so has a 3.42 final drive. GM reman 4L80E with standalone transmission computer. 2 good Optimal batteries. Custom made extra size battery cables. Lots of other upgrades. Delco in dash CD player with 12 disc changer. Has factory alloy 8 lug wheels with Load Range E tires. LS trim, drivers seat needs upholstery, passenger seat is fair. The balance of the interior is good. Recent AC compressor, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, etc. Always use the best parts I can find. Have receipts going back years.

Engine currently out and partially disassembled. I'm in Jacksonville, Florida. Clear Florida title in hand. $5,000 takes it all. Would like to sell as one lot, but may part out if no interest.

I definitely want the provent.

Db2? How many miles on it and did you do anything to it beyond stock like hardened parts inside?

And I would like the cruise cable assembly just as a back up I think, checking numbers to see its same as hummer.

If anyone out there NEEDS these at his good prices, I can pass. Just gonna sit on my shelf for some time before I get to it probably next year.

DB2 and injection lines are sold, as is the Racor filter.

Custom made battery cables. Complete set of battery cable, made from double 0 cable as I recall (plenty big enough) for two top mount terminal batteries. Complete positive cable from side to side and down to starter. Power wires to alternator (with fusible link) and to underhood fuse box. 2 negative cables to engine, cable from engine to chassis ground, plus another chassis ground to engine. Very well made and they do the trick $100.







Alternator bracket with mount for Provent 200, or use just for alternator $25.

Also odd brackets, glow plug relay, etc and small parts, please inquire.
 
Is the underhood firewall insulation any good? That may sell as it's NLA.

AC Hoses are 6.5 unique so sell them. Someone will have a need for them... The HVAC control head, working, also is a 1995 unique part that fails often.

Note I don't want them just pointing out the rare items that should be sold not scrapped. :D
