Hey guys it's me again. I have another question for all you out there. I have a 1995 Chevy K1500 with a 5.7. and my question is there a newer truck that would have a limited slip rear axle that would be able to go in my truck? thanks for the help

What rear end are you wanting to swap? just a 10 bolt for a ten bolt? I have put 14bolt FF into half ton trucks with no plroblems, but for what its worth they all had drum brakes. the new ones with the rear disk and drum for parking brake would possible need some fab work, I dont know..

I believe the 14 Bolt Semi Float came with a factory limited slip.

Why not just build up a rear axle? Or find a 3500 Chevy and take the 14bolt Full float and do as you please with it.

Actually you could just swap in a limited slip into your current axle for cost saving purposes. Not much to worry about on a 1500 with the 5.7L. Check out the Detroit Truetrac limited slip, or the Auburn Limited Slip. Both are great quality and competitively priced against each other.
