I like the simple phones, just like you. Used for a call or a text. The screen is so small, I can't even see it to surf the internet.

I'm looking at an Evo Shift. My Hero's battery is starting to die... it won't stay charged for a day anymore without much use.

I like the Evo, but it's just too big. It's almost the size of a mouse pad for crying out loud. The Shift is smaller with a slide-out qwerty keyboard which I like. Typing on the screen isn't hard, it just isn't as intuitive to me. Whatever I get, it'll be another Android.

i just got the new casio ravine and i like it except for the fact that they dont come with a charging dock any more. they have the prvisions for one but it didnt come with one

I don't have one and don't really want one. The only possible reason I would get one is that you have to in order to get a internet card for the computer. It is about my only option for faster than dial-up internet. Cell phones should be made to not work in a car or truck. Talking drivers are worse than drunk drivers. I have witnessed several cell phone caused accidents. There is nothing that important that it can't wait untill you are stopped and out from behind the wheel. Most texting is retarded[I work in a high school] Kids should not have cell phones. Ok let her rip. I figure i'll get blasted for these comments.

If you get stuck on the side of the road late at night, or need to be notified in an emergency, then it pays for itself. I keep it simple. Use it for a necessity, and business only.

Get a pre-paid phone if you don't use it that much. Have you ever noticed that it is hard to find a phone booth these days.
