Fog, HID is bad, unless you get 3000k HID. Then it'll be that nice Golden Color like you see on the LeMans Race Cars.

You can do Halogen Gold Bulbs though if you want to keep it "Simple".

To clarify, its bad for fog but good for more light. You wont have any problems lighting up the road.

I'm personally not a fan of 3000k. Its too gold for my tastes. Amber would be cool but gold is not what strikes my fancy. I was close to doing it too until I saw a friends truck with 3000k lights in his fogs.
