I'd would have done the full solenoid kit change, it's cheap Possibly shift solenoids, but you have some done now, hopefully it not major. Lol, this way you've covered most bases, I lost gears, as well (felt like neutral) stop, then it would work again, that kit cured it, now 3 years later all...

Also, just throwing it out there, for another easy look.. Harmonic balancer pulleys will tick when the rubbers dead inside.. Make sure that's not tapping on the bolt heads

When mine was leaking, I bought a oil filter JUST for the rubber ring , popped it off (gently) .... and it worked,,,,leak gone

I'd also say starter don't seem well, or possible combo starter/fly wheel And dont worry about the oil on the starter, hehe , mines always covered oil, I bet starter burning up as ya crank

once when I had no oil pressure, I shut her off right way, replaced oil filter and worked.... Figure throw something out there, these problems can drive one crazy .., Hopefully ya figure out
