Leroy you also suggested behind blinker on core support as another option? Fins horizontal? I plan on making new bumper soon. My cuz does amazing metal fab for jeeps so we are making a beastly bumper for sub.
Marine inj I got from ssd are bosch so maybe they shaped up since then. Idk. But I am very interested in the fuel filter you offer leroy. I like the idea of removing my fuel sock. You have very innovative products
Leroy diesel has a wonderful rep and im sure I will do buisness with him in the future. Dieselcash I was wondering if you have had any ssd parts or is this speculation? Also on that 93 I assume your running a mechanical ip so is fsd failure even a problem for you? I am here to learn and I learn...
I would be interested to hear about failures of intake mounted fsd from ssd. That would be a serious deterrant from placing it there. Not all heatsink kits are quality. There is more to the design than just ext cable and aluminum
Not a salesman, not cheerleading just my oppinion guys. Ssd has been great to me on everything else. As I said that was from what I understand about pmd/fsd failures. If mine fails ,again,I will post about it to help others thats what this is all about. I appreciate the advice leroy, you seem very...
About to mount my fsd from ssd on intake as recomended. So cant answer you for another 100,000 mi. I will say ssd has not steered me wrong on anything. Tech support is the best in the 6.5td buisness. From what I understand its not engine heat that cooks the pmd it is its own worst enemy. Cooks...
My fsd kit is on Aluminum L bracket, fins forward behind driver side battery. It is currently in process of failing. I have to pop the hood and drive like that so it cools off. Have a new one from ssdiesel but my concern with mounting it in bumper is that a minor fender bender put the truck down...
Doing sas on my on my 99 burban soon so I am also interested. I would think you would know if its in lo just by gearing and slow exceleration. Idk, Maybe a switch to floor shifter is possible?
