Can anyone tell where I've gone wrong with this airbag? I can't seem to get it to sit properly. It may be I've use the wrong holes in the upper bracket, I didn't think the instructions were quite specific enough. I may not have it allaigned properly, but i've tried several times. This can't...
I haven't run it over a scale yet,but that is probably in the range. I was pleasantly suprised at how well it pulls.
I keep meaning to get a DTR sticker for that oil can and get it traveling. Guess I've been lazy.
We are on the maiden outing as I type and have a camper full of kids at...
That was a concern but the back door can be locked by key from the outside. On the other hand that wouldn't be good is case of a fire emergency. I'm just going to stick a piece of tape on the outside and tell them it better still be there in the morning.
It's a hair over 38', the back door goes into the 1/2 bath w/ a door going into the bunk house from there. I'll see if this link to the floor plan works.http://www.forestriverinc.com/nd/default22.asp?page=floorview&model=335QBQ&choice=sierra&nav=rec&name=73&series=5thWheels
Picked up our new "camper" yesterday. We shouldn't out grow tis one until both kids are out of the house. Enough bunk beds in back for 6 kids and their own 1/2 bath.
Pulled it 90 miles home and I was pleasantly suprised how well the truck handled the weight. I haven't scaled it yet but I'm...
I traded my 5'ver yesterday for one a bit larger. Air bags may be in my not so distant future. I welcome any suggestions from your experience and contacts (PM me) from any vendors among you.
I've been through so many brands of AT's I'm not sure. I think they might have come on one of my half gassers years ago. Probably not the same load rating and all. Maybe they will be next if these don't hold up.
No, I don't. The gravel I drive on seems to eat ever other tire I've tried. I'm hoping the wide gaps between the lugs will allow rocks to go in between rather than taking out chunks. I'd love to have a tire compound with the hardness of a semi tire.
I'm willing to admit my lack of knowledge of these parts of which you speak. I can identify a tie rod but thats about it. Could someone discribe them or post a pic? The truck is approaching 100k mile so I'm sure wear is at least a factor.
I'm still looking for the tire that last for more than 20k or 22k miles for my type of driving. I'm sure they exist and there are as many opinions as there are tires so I'm giving these a try. They do make some noise on pavement, but I'll just turn up the radio.
One question; the truck is...
See, I'm looking to buy from someone who has already taken it in the shorts. I know I may not use it much so I'm including that into the equation. Please keep it coming.
Baled my little patch of grass hay today. Only 200 bales but I was the only one stacking and I ain't used to this anymore. Seems the only day the wind doesn't blow around here is when I'm baling. The 90 degrees didn't help either.
I'm thinking of buying a boat. Something used, 18 feet or so, open bow type, mainly for tow the kids on a tube or skis.
What are the things to look for or look out for structurally, motor, drive wise?
Here is some from over the 4th of July. 21 pound fresh leg of pork (uncured ham), dry rub a day ahead of time, on the smoker for 12 hours. Side dish of smoked turkey.
