Looks like you don't ever want to see another grenaded clutch. Knee problems chased me away from manuals to automatics. May youra last a looong time.
Great fab work. Thanx for the updates.
I'd forgotten about that quick fix. I did that on my '69, but used Non Detergent 30w, and it didn't squeek for a long time (3+years).
Thanx for the reminder.
And Happy new year.
I had fixed a heater duct on my '69 dodge back in the '70s with foil HVAC tape. The fix outlasted the heater; when I replaced the core and ducts in the '80s, the original duct had disintegrated inside the foil tape but it wasn't leaking.

Welcome aboard, Thank you for your service.
In addition to diesel expierience, we also have a little group of veterans.
There is a ton of info in the sticky section of the tech ref. library.
Here is a link...
I found this when looking for info on converting to rear disc brakes.
Who knows how long it will last, but it does end eventually. Like a train wreck, I just couldn't stop watching.
The nerd that wrote this is cool.

Excellent! Thanks. It's the kind of thing I do; F-ing factory doesn't seem to care about future service access, just assembly.
Best to you and the family...
and all the furry ones.
