OK, here's my deal; I'm trying to post a wiring schematic that I scanned onto my computer which saved it in a PDF format. When I try to upload it to Photobucket, it doesn't recognize it as a photo format and therefore wll not show it as available to upload. How do I convert this PDF to a gif...
I have found in my neck of the woods that parts stores no longer stock spray bombs. When I color matched my A pillar I went to the local Sherwin Williams paint store(Autobody). To have them mix a can of RPO paint was VERY cost prohibitive; I ended up "matching" the paint to some colors they keep...
For my wires at the gauge pod, I used a small hole saw and drilled a hole in the actual A-pillar trim the truck came with and then ran the wires down the pillar inside the trim. (My gauge pod was one that screws to the original trim) Then I routed it straight down between the gap of the...
Galaxy 73V with a Road King 56 attached. Fired through a Wilson 2000(?) Thought maybe one could see the antenna mounted in the passenger front stake pocket in the camper photo, but I can't even see it.:rolleyes5:
Does anyone have a good source for golf cart wheels/tires? I'm looking at some combos on Egay and am wondering if anybody has a better(cheaper) source.
Welcome, 3500 dually!! This is a great place to learn just about everything about your truck. for Future reference and to help others help you, take the time to fill out a signature for the bottom of your posts. Again, welcome and enjoy.
:hihi: So I had to get my Mom's car out of the county impound yard (a whole different long story) so I hooked up the trailer to the 'ol 6.5, drove down the 60 miles, loaded it up, had started the drive back. It was dark, rainy, but the interstate was pretty scarce of traffic. I was tooling...
I didn't think it would make that big of a difference W/O a different turbo. I'll have to consider the chip first if it does produce great results without the price.
Whoops. I installed Duraterms.
Ok, so I actually replaced the glows towards the end of November, but just now have gotten around to post some pictures of the carnage. It wasn't as hard as I expected and took about three hours with me taking my sweet time. I took out the inner fender and dropped the downpipe; I also cleaned a...

Just down the road a piece from me. I love the owner's one-off vehicles.
I replaced condenser on my 98 Suburban because I finally got the lines off, but twisted the pipes to it. But more importantly, the nuts on the hose lines had been filled with the threads of the condenser lines after I broke them loose(lots of PB Blaster). I tried to clean the threads, but to no...
Warpspeed crossover here and DiamondEye DP and full exhaust installed all at the same time. Huge difference. Had to enlarge the holes on one side of the DP flange to get it to go on "easy".
FYI, Hotrod magazine did a feature on this technique and painted a car this way. Not sure of the year it was done, but was withinh the last 3 years. the car came out great.
