Hey guys, I know that I need injectors, and I've been looking at getting bosch ones from either leroy or heath. However, I saw that Pensacola diesel has injectors for less than what it'd cost for new bosch ones. I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for, but I figured I'd see if anyone...

I know about that much for the bigger turbos. I didn't check your sig before. I'm still getting used to people on here, so I forget that you guys have some significant power upgrades done(Still used to the fb wackos). I had thought that you were talking about using one on a stock turbo
Stock turbo spools up really quickly, I see measureable boost around 1800rpm on my current setup (see sig). Before this, it was spooling around 1600-1700rpm. I was running a hypertech tune at the time. Even with the addition of the 3 bar MAP sensor and frc-10, I was seeing it around there.
My lift pump is fully functioning. It's a Walbro FRC-10 from Leroy that I put on about 7k miles ago. No issues at all with it so far *knock on wood*, but I'm considering getting a Raptor 100 system from him later this year after I get custom tunes, WMI, and headstuds in
I've already done some prevention to running lean. I run a 3 BAR MAP sensor, yes I know that it keeps from over boosting, but it also allows for more fuel than stock. Also, the tune and upgraded LP help with fuel flow too. But as you said, dyno numbers tell all, so once I get everything done on...
So, I've gone and purchased everything that I need for FTB on my truck. To those of you who are running it on a ds4 pump, what benefits have you seen, and what should I expect to see? I'm running a Heath Max-E-Tork tune, Walbro FRC-10 from Leroy Diesel, stock GM-4 set to 15psi, open exhaust, and...
I have no clue what it's currently got. Bought the truck a year and a half ago, and haven't done plugs yet. The glow time is extended from the tune I'm running. I know that I need injectors. I just wanted to the truck to get through the winter so I didn't have to do work in the cold
So it happened again today, this time after work. Took almost 2 hours of keeping it on a charger to keep the batteries from draining, as well as a couple of heat guns, a fair amount of WD40, and a lot of cursing. At least my coworkers are always willing to help. I load tested the batteries after...
I'm not sure if it decreases fuel delivery, but my truck did feel less peppy than it did before. Iirc, it'll tell the ecm to push more fuel because it's reading less boost than the motor is actually receiving. Not too sure though
Who on here is running a 3" intake plenum from Peninsular Diesel, and how did you hook up the sensors? I'm looking into buying one for my truck, but I've heard of people having issues with sensor placement and boost leaks
I run a 3 BAR Map sensor, and so does pacificdrumma. It's prevented defueling on both of our trucks, and i've had no issues. I don't think he's had any either
Update: The I got the tune in on Thursday, and it's a huge improvement over the Hypertech one that I was running before. Shifts are firm, there's a ton of midrange power, and I've got through a couple tanks of fuel because it's very hard to keep my foot OUT of it
I picked the tune up from someone off of another forum. My hx35 is currently on my work bench at home half taken apart, waiting to be reclocked, have a turbo master made, as well as a down pipe adapter. The tune was relatively cheap, and I'm going to go crazy if im on stock tuning for over a...
So I finally sold my half decent Hypertech tune, and I'm picking up a Heath Towing tune basically because it's better than what I was running before. What can I expect to see in terms of improvements? I'm also planning on putting an HX35 on my truck relatively soon, and even though this tune is...
