I'm being plagued with header leaks on my custom stainless headers on my P-400 upgrade in my Motorhome.
Originally we used stock exhaust gaskets, but the bolts would loosen some would even back out far enough to fall out. We talked to Peninsular to see what they recommended and they said to use...
Yes, I replaced the blower switch and the plug kit came with some heavier wires and some lighter wires. I used the heavy wires in the slots that melted.
Here's an update.
I found the fan/blower problem. It was a melted connector on the blower switch. It's not focused. but you can see the issue.
Here's what I replaced it with.
I have an appointment tomorrow to have the AC looked at to see why it isn't working. but the blower works fine now.
Last summer my AC quit working on my 98 K3500 6.5 TD. I wasn't too concerned, as I didn't drive it very much and if it was warm outside, I just opened the window. In the winter, it wasn't a problem.
I had noticed the compressor clutch wasn't engaging and someone told me it was probably low on...
After waking up to several inches of snow on the ground (a week and a half ago it was 70 deg), I decided it would be a good day to boil down my maple syrup.
I use kerosene for heat in my garage too. Whatever is left, I save for the next year without any issues. Although here in Minnesota, it's not that long from spring to winter.
I also wouldn't have any issues with putting some in the 6.5, except the price difference.
Well, back on topic. Now that's warming up some, I think it's time to start finishing the motorhome project to get it ready for a summer of fun. (hopefully NOT like last year)
