Here are some better pics of this bearing. In the last pic you can barely make out the stress lines in the casting where the bearing has been pushed in.
I like your idea. Iv'e been look for a reason to buy a press.
Then bolt this piece down with the FFM mount holes?
I appreciate all the self inflicted research that you have done. I don't even remember where I got my Teds recommendation from. There was nothing wrong with my Optimizer from...
The ball is above flush. I am going to get it out somehow and tap the hole. I can just see that thing coming out driving down the road.
I got bad information on the MLS and o-ring situation. Otherwise I would have stuck to a standard head gasket.
I rolled the dice on an import block. I am satisfied with the block itself, the seller is a shyster. The say the block is inspected before shipment, yet the bores are .002" over max. They wanted me to return the block at $400 in shipping. I tried to reason with them and they made it sound like...

Anyone have a better option?
Nice Piece!
If I decide to go with one of the modified DBS's my fuel system setup will be like this. It probably wont be as pretty, but it will function the same.
I've been doing some power reading over the last few days as I dive back into my project. This is one of the threads I have went through and I will add a little to it.
I have a background in the world of mild street cars. Some that I built for myself and some I have built for others. As far as...
I have had bad experiences with the SCT software and hardware. Not on my personal projects , but friends with later Mustangs. I wouldn't even consider switching to their stuff. The last I heard their customer support was pretty poor too.
The tuner I used had not tuned with QuarterHorse before...
