Both the trans and truck were fully warmed up at it was 60ish outside so I don't think that was it. I didn't see the trailer light up on the dash so I'm thinking that wasn't it either.
Here is a question. What do you think the best PSI to run the tires at is? Right now I have 55psi front and rear. The truck seems to want to walk a little after I got the tires on and it aligned. Should I let some air go in the front?
So what can everyone tell me about these? I've been kicking around getting one to put in place of my stock head unit. What should I look for, any recommendations? Basically teach me about these.
Wanted to see if anyone has had this issue or similar problem like this. Tonight me and a friend had to cruise over to the local Menard. On the way home I got on it some, cause well I can when I went get onto the highway. I looked down at my speedometer and it is saying I'm doing 70 mph at...
I had my truck out the highway tonight after having it aligned to make sure everything seemed alright. I noticed that there is a slight vibration felt in the steering wheel around 55 mph. This is the first time I've really had it out on the highway since having the tires put on so my question is...
Tried them out on the open road tonight. I can tell a difference with the highs on but with the lows on there really is no difference. Maybe it's because the high beam bulbs down in the fog lights wash out the light, I'm not sure. Guess I'll just add HIDs to the wish list. Damn it's getting longer.
Had them out on the highway for the first time today. You can tell that they are on the truck but it's not horrible. I was still able to carry on a conversation with my passenger while the radio was on.
I notice a small difference but like I said they are not as bright as what I thought they would be. With shipping it cost me 127 bucks. Probably should have read more about them and HIDs and saved my money and bought some HID kits but I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that HID kits are...
I guess my eyes aren't as good as I thought they were. After driving a little more with them at night I can see a little difference but not as what I thought they would be. I showed them to a friend tonight and with just the lows on his response was "They're brighter?" so I don't know.
Got a set of HIR bulbs, both high and low beams installed yesterday. Can't say I can really see a difference between those and the stock bulbs.:( Here are a couple pics I took. First 2 are stock bulbs except for the fog lights. I have high beam bulbs in my fogs. Also I have done the All-Hi mod...
I get the same thing in my Chevy. I expect I'll get flashed by people more as I put a set of Hi beam bulbs down in the fog lights. I don't see why it wouldn't work with the GMCs.
I haven't driven on them much because I haven't been to the alignment shop yet. Was suppose to Friday but one of the main cables for the lift broke but from what little I have driven them in town it's not bad. Mostly when I slow down for a stop sign. Hopefully they get me in today so I can get...
Had a set of Cooper Discover ST/Ts put on my Summer rims the other day. Also installed a set of tie rod sleeves that I built using Yaz's drawing.

I put the hi beam bulbs in the fogs tonight. Made a nice little difference. Sadly now I want brighter low beams as well. Can't really tell much of a difference with them in with the fogs, hi and low beams on though. I'll have to get a pic of it all lit up. Had to give a friend a ride after...
