the castrol dex6 that i used is called a premium synthetic blend formula,approved by gm for dex6 vehicles also exceeds for dex111 h,111,11e,11 i would assume they call it a blend so it must be semisynthetic what a jackpot gm doen't care they will make money on repairs

i did not have the tool for the plugs,but i cut a bigger heat shrink open and slipped in to make a better surface at the entrance so the wires are still in the heat shrink and should not break,as they are up against the heat shrink and not the hard surfaces. good luck mike
