    Glowplugs...So I'm Screwed Aren't I?

    On my '84 6.2, what happened to me was the glow plugs unscrewed ok, but tips on 2 of 'em were 'swollen' and would not come out. The 2 right side ones buried next to the heater core. Where there is NO room. I ended up having to pull the motor to remove them.

    How much hassle is it to remove the hub tho? Ive pulled/ swapped 6.2 motors before, but I'm 67 now & I am still sore from changing the brake pads!! ( on the 'bad' rotor I put in som old used pads, in case I decide to take it to a garage.) -corne-
