Single wire to the alternator from the coil is the excitor wire. Apparently signals the alternator when to start charging. Problem was the fuel pump not the distributor. Up and running, thanks to your sketches. Haven't ran the wire from the alternator to the battery yet. Not sure what gauge to...
I guess I don't understand how that could have sent voltage back to the battery. Everything seems to be working properly. I just don't have fire to the plugs right now. Has to be in the distributor because the coil is hot.
