The bracket to mount the lower part of the air box is about 1" off from the original holes in the inner fender so after welding up the part due to part of it being deteriorated, I ended up not using it. Unwelded version shown below. I'm unsure of the part number but it looks like it contains...
With the suggestion from @ak diesel driver I was able to find a later model coolant overflow tank. It seemed this lower corner was in need of some heat shielding, so I used some of the leftovers from my firewall to cover the lower corner. It looked like something had been there from the...
Have you ruled out the ignition switch as WarWagon suggested? Mine was doing goofy things and I'd never have guessed it since the one I had was a new OEM part not too many years earlier.
Are you suggesting mine is not correctly put together @Will L. ?
I thought the way @WarWagon described it was the way I had put mine together. I had a small gap and pulled the torque convertor toward the flywheel when I fastened it.
I bought this for my oil cooler.
My cooler hoses are PTFE which is correct for the oil cooler. Ratings shown below which far exceed anything necessary. They're very flexible and easy to work with.

Raising the battery allowed me to turn it slightly. It looks a little donkey-dong. Painted black, it will be hardly noticeable to most
Once these batteries are done, I'll move on to dual post and I might consider selling this for the right price.
After ordering some terminal relocators that turned out to not be the correct size, I was fiddling around and came up with a plan. I'm unsure about posting on a forum because I don't want someone to steal my idea HOWEVER, keep in mind, your attorney fees will gobble you up if someone tries to...
Dad put a set of these in his fenders on his '75 K30 in order to let heat out. They were pretty appealing visually and holding your hand over them just at idle, the heat would boil out of them. 1978-1981 Z28 I believe was the year from where they came. I'll see if I can find a picture of them...
