I’ve used Tim for 3rd gen Cummins injectors a few times. Each time, a thorough phone conversation happened and a few days later my injectors would arrive. I have no complaints about his service.
I’ve used Mylex International for 6.2 diesel stuff (it’s about an hour and a half from me) and have...
Hope I don’t muddy up the post
Here is a 94 up DS4 balancer showing both the crank gear with reluctor and spacer ring for use with gear with out reluctor
Photo comparing reluctor to spacer
And one of spacer at balancer showing difference in length of the old DB2 balancer
The reluctor wheel is built into the timing chain crank gear. If your balancer has the spacer ring, just leave it off. If it is the long snout, and you don’t need the reluctor, you can change the crank sprocket.
The frames between 2wd and 4wd are the same from the weld below the firewall to the rear. At least on the crew cabs. Crew cab frames are the same srw or drw. We have ground the weld out and swapped front sections to convert frames back and forth.
The 1/2 ton 4wd uses an 8.25 front differential...
Also remember the 91-93 4L80 had a different cleaning cycle than the later transmissions. If using a 91-93 TCM, it must use the early trans, but if using a later controller, the early trans can be updated with a few parts swapped.
Also look into the 94-95 step vans. I’ve found a few that had...
Just a $30 junkyard ECM, 12200411 used from 99-02 on just about every Style of GM vehicle.
As I said, I used a 4x crank sprocket from a 6.5 along with the timing cover for the sensor. (You may can use the vacuum pump with vss sensor, but they are hard to find, mostly CA/high altitude engines)...
Just us a GM 0411 PCM. Tune it with a tune for whatever crank sensor teeth you are using (i have a crank gear on my 6.2 from a 6.5, which is 4x) my PCM has a 00-01 van 5.7/4l80 tune, then we went in and turned off all the engine perimeters but crank sensor, TPS & CTS.
Took all the unnecessary...
