I have never slammed their product they sell and you very rarely hear people raving about the HX clone. Just 2 small for doing any real towing. The Unbiased tester also switches between the HxII which is the small housing which is slightly bigger than the gm turbo and the larger hx clone. So you...
The person and persons doing the unbiased testing of the ATT or A-team Turbo at another site have a personal agenda and the information they have posted is untrue, they have fabricated lies, and used manipulation to make their case. Please realize the ATT is the ONLY true turbo replacement kit...
Really my only design was to try and get my truck to run to it's full potential, not to sell anything. The multiple tune is a good gimick and would not be needed "in my opinion" if the tune was right. Trying the latest tune. I have great pulling power, nice smooth idle and power up to 3900 rpm...
Made more adjustments today. Boost .2 tenths of a pound at 1293 rpm no shifting needed fifth gear no smoke under load. 110 MPH today and very little smoke 15.5 lbs boost through an intercooler set up this time. Getting close, fuel mileage is up considerably (Perceived not yet documented) and...
Yes exact same one, glad I didn't buy them now. So that is a good deal and they work great. Set your 6.2 at the right time and the timing on the manual pump 6.5.
Absolutely no problem all is good, and once I get the tune done down to the tee, I will make it available to the guys with OBD 1 that buy a turbo from me. That way they get the correct tune right off the bat, Now the OBD 2 stuff is between TheFerminator and Kojo, I have or will give both of them...
That is really up to you on what turbo you want: it is a matter of personal preference, Get an 80 dollar rebuild kit for your gm eight and keep what you got and be done with it. Problem solved for cheap money. One solution. By the way welcome to the forum.
As far as the perceived pissing...
Not until I get it set up correctly and make sure there are no problems with it. Trying to see how it works on OBD 2 as well, I want to make sure there are absolutely no problems.
Guys passed on the timing light sets, bought one for myself and it works great. Just didn't need ten of them, so I talked him into one. Just don't have the time to mess with it right now, have other priorities, that need addressing. Thanks anyways.
They were made by Fox Valley, Diesel timing...
Tanman the ATT does not lag at all, I have found from Thefermanator that the tunes out there are not correct for the ATT. The tune I am running right now does not smoke at all off the line or at pretty much any point where I run it. I t has taken quite some effort to properly tune it. Kojo...
The statement you made regarding the smoke and lag is untrue. If the truck is properly tuned it will not smoke nor " lag ". The tunes out there are incorrect. The only tune I have looked at that is close to correct is KOJO's tune. I have my own tune and have no smoke and more lower end than I...
I have the trans settings in my definition file made by Rainstate. BUT I DON"T HAVE A clue what to do with them. Maybe talk with TheFermanator he knows his stuff about tuning, trust me.
Never had good luck loaning anything to someone. Most of the time it goes horribly wrong. But not saying it won't happen. I would share the tune I have but not completely done with it yet, and If you don;t have a larger turbo your truck may not like it much. I get a steady almost half a PSI of...
I will get the make and model number of the unit. I have one and it works good. The guy has ten and He says they were new out of stock. They only work if you have the same size glow plug as we do on our trucks. Gm Diesels and ford diesels use them not sure what else.

Best way I found is to number the tune, then I take a scanner and run the truck watch where it smokes write it down make modifications and then re run the truck to see if the mod works. So far it is working for me, have about 25 hours total drive and desk time into this tune. Real time tuning...
I have a line on a few maybe ten diesel timing light set ups. These use an optical input to drive a inductive pulse so that you can use a regular inductive timing light. Trying to figure out if 75 dollars per unit is worth it? Anyone in? I like the optical light because you can figure out where...
Seeing the best running truck I have ever had, still tweaking but getting very very close to a smokeless tune that flat rocks. The truck is so smooth that it is almost hard to imagine that I have been driving it like it was for so long. Real time tuning takes a lot of time but the results are...
YES more than a few have been, a few inthe larger flat bodied wreckers as well. i think they have 4:56 or taller 5:13 gears. The guys get 2 MPG more and love the extra power.
