Yeah that’s what I told him, monitor the hot side, but he wanted dual and asked me to see if I could find something (in return for a 40lb roll of mig wire he gave me... lol)
He said from what he read two is recommended on the N/A engines 🤷🏽♂️ And yeah he mentioned the aircraft ones and the price, probably not an option lol.
My buddy says it is recommended to run an EGT sensor on each bank for his 6.2, but cannot find a dual gauge. I’ve seen these Isspro’s but figured I’d ask here what you fellows would recommend.
Thanks!

Yup that’s all I was saying. Have you watched Social Dilemma? The algorithms are designed to deliver what YOU the individual want to see, and are not at all influenced by whether or not things are true. That’s all I was trying to say. (Also not trying to say there AREN’T vehicles burning up...
Good point. I would go to far as to say ANY social media platform’s “personalized feed” is simply that, personalized news catered to what you like to see, and should not be taken literally. Not sure if y’all have seen the Social Dilemma but it explains the algorithms quite well I thought.
That’s kinda the idea behind the in-line tool oiler thing, but the trouble is that oil would only circulate through the head, and never get down to the swashplate in the crankcase. If you could rig something the would dump the oil back into the crankcase fill hole then I suppose that could work...
Got the mount bracket almost finished yesterday. Probably going to use an old tensioner I have lying around. Also messed around with the second pulley a bit, think I’ve got a plan of attack now, just hope I can weld the center in without warping the pulley... 😬
Greasing these isnt hard, just...
Actually, as was mentioned billet or cast aluminum cover would be awesome BUT, someone should even start making this idea ^^ as a weld-it-yourself kit to upgrade your existing covers. That would be easy/cheap enough to do reasonably I think.
Shucks! I coulda had a few test runs made for you guys at my last job! Too bad, I left there a month ago. They’ve got water-jet and plasma tables and a billion other tools I miss already 😆
I think that’s what I’ll have to do. That’s a custom fan pulley, but I think I have an idea how to make one. Going to be tricky as I don’t have access to a lathe any more but I think it’ll work. Also have to make an extra tensioner pulley, that’s the hard part.
Well that might be the smarter idea yes 😂. But I just wanted to use this one since I have it laying around, and I prefer the mounting points on it to the other ones people usually use for OBA.
Yorks are bulky and they’re lots harder to find, not to mention these swashplate Sandens have better...
