I've gone through (2) dimmer switches in the past two years now. Granted that they have been from Oreilly's so maybe it's cheap junk? I'm thinking about going with an ACDelco one for the 3rd go around. Anyone else have problems with their dimmer switch going bad/ having a short life?
I was wondering if your starter happened to wear away enough of a section of the flex plate, what would be your preffered method of turning over the motor in order to get some fresh teeth exposed so that the starter could grab?
Do these fit the bill? These seem to be shorter than the other ones I find.

Every other place I find such as Napa, O'Reilly and Advance Auto have their own respective set but are longer...
BBC? Rock auto doesn't have flexplate bolts but they do have flywheel bolts in the manual transmission section. Same with my local NAPA. LMC Truck shows a diagram and they use the same part for both flexplate/flywheel applications.
