Goodyear Silent Armors at work, they get drove hard lucky to get 10k out of them. At that point they start getting a lot of sidewall role and hydroplaneing bad. Cooper ATR's on my truck at about 17k now, will be ready for new ones at 20k, or before snow.

Well considering the fact that the 09 came stock with chromed steel wheels 245/75/16's, there is no problem with clearances. Yes if you pack enough mud and rocks into any wheel it will possibly tear the rim up. If the truck came with alloy rims they would be 17's, half ton steel wheels are 17's...

x2 :iagree: I drove a reg cab 4x4, 98 454 and it is no comparison to the 8.1 that I used to own. Not that the previous owner hammered on the truck but 115k and towed plus it needs a wheel bearing, I think you can find better. 454 will get about the same mileage as a 496.

315 Cooper ATR's on Duramax. 39 Irocks on the toyota, love them. have also run 39.5 boggers as it is set up now they did not work good on my truck. 38 tsl sx's with toyota axles, were good tires also.

dentpusha, I posted some more pics of the bumber. nothing was bent it is all welded 1/4" steel with 2 d-rings. this spring it is going to get POR-15, and a back bumper to match.
