I will definitely not be using parts cleaner on anything I am welding. I appreciate the heads up, I never knew that.
It does not have the capability to run gas, it is straight flux core. Hopefully I can get to where I can weld a decent looking bead with it.
I was kind of curious about...
My wife surprised me with this new little welder that I had been looking at. I finally got it out of the box last night and laid a few beads. I am no welder and i have never welded with a wire welder but it seems like it's going to do pretty good. It's an inexpensive one from Harbor Freight...
Well guys, looks like an air filter and fuel filter got it running like a new engine. I told my BIL last night that was the first thing he needed to do just to rule it out, but i never really thought it would make that much difference. We got it out on the interstate tonight and hit 65 with no...

The problem: The thing has no power, it's very sluggish on take off and spits and sputters, and when it is idling...
It seems slow to me most times too, most times I just open the page and then open another tab and look at something else until it loads. This is the only site I have trouble with also, but I love it so it's worth the wait. Not complaining, just saying.
Thanks for all ya'll do.
I would look at the solenoids. My BIL bought a Saturn from a guy for $250 because it wouldn't shift past 2nd, ended up being the solenoids. He was actually joking with the guy and said "I'll give ya $250 for it" and he took him up on it.
ECSB, but next time it will be CCLB. I have a wife, a kid and 1 more kid on the way now, all of which I did not have when I bought the truck so the CC would be nice. I would also like to have my toolbox in my truck, put my fourwheeler in the back and close the tailgate.
