Yea thats whats messing with me all the old rings was all different sizes ive seen that 1-6. Are same and 7-8 are different im just confused and had to stop the rebuild for the moment.

Thanks Im glad i decided to over haul the engine it looked good but i wanted new lol scat crank all new bearings pistons rings and to new heads not gm heads

I just sealed it there was very very little oil now it makes sense

Finally installed the headlight relay harness to keep the lowbeams on when hi beams are on

Now before i put the bolt in i checked to make sure there was no play in the new balancer it was tight then i installed bolt and torqued to 200 ft/lbs

It wasnt on the threads it was put on the edge of crank snout after balancer was installed then bolt was put in. I only changed it cause his oil seal was leaking and the rubber wasnt looking good so before he broke his crank i replaced it
