That's not a blown head gasket. This is a blown head gasket. Its strange how the fire ring on yours stayed in place and the gasket material behind it blew away. Do those gaskets have the metal reinforced corners at cylinders #7 & #8?

I believe that Nate is correct. The cruise control has a rubber bushing in it and it goes over the larger step, then the throttle goes on the outside of the same post followed by the clip.

The climate controls in my truck have only 3 speeds for the blower motor. From what I have read this changed in the later 1993 models and 1994 to a 4 speed. I have yet to find the complete blower wiring harness to change it to the 4 speed. If someone has the wiring diagram for a 1994 truck...
