I use the diamond disc, they clog up on aluminum but work good on steel and don't contaminate when tig welding... I use a needle scaler if there is heavy scale...
Until you slow down your just throwing crap on a wall and hoping it sticks... Save your money for when you really need it, that would be a game changer...
#1 - you could have a couple different cups, no real way to know without looking... Doubtful it has diamonds being a n/a motor.
N/a motors don't have coated pistons like turbo does, same most everything else internally.
#2 - any can be made to work with some fab skills.. without a large body...

Both shafts have the "long" end facing out...
My pic is with everything installed, it shows the cam and gear drive and the lower gear all lined up at the rear of them all ...
You should also have a bronze thrust washer on the back...
Your going to have to piece it as you go using parts from other vehicles, we can't give you a list of what's needed when various parts are going to be used like this.
The adjustable throw out bearing I use was the best thing ever, it gives instructions for the same measurement and no tool needed other than a straight edge and tape measure... I made a adjustable push rod at the petal that also worked great... Several folks here have done it and they told me...
