For your sake, because people have had the social graces not to call your whining and complaining the childish butt hurt tantrums that they are. I never thought any of that was about me, yet you think you connect some invisible dots, and we are all out to get you. Those were my impressions of...

OH no, oh me, oh my, all about who? blah, blah, blah, continue the crap Oh no again, poor me. And a pre-emptive BS post because we all had to know what you're doing. And yes, about the ignorance. And then well, you had your longest rant, since you took offense to the sob comment, and for...

Its all in your head, if you think I was critical of you before that is laughable. You dont even understand yourself, and youve ruined the thread again. You may not like facts, but I post them so some people can learn from it, its not my fault if a few people are too stubborn or don't want to...

An emotional rant is pretty textbook, and thats the problem. You are your own worst enemy.

The sob posts have to be the most annoying though!!! WW, your Suburban eats LPs for breakfast :hihi: I only brought up the 14psi Airtex because its stock replacement, fast and cheap, can get at Oreileys, or Summit, Amazon. Apparantly its made in the USA, maybe all Airtex is?? There have...

The DB2 may not like as much pressure as a DS4 can handle, with the timing not externally controlled, but with internal pressures, so I would probably put 9psi into the IP, and have a pump that can actually maintain it at 9psi with demand, 6psi minimum. With the fuel filter being a restriction...

    Hx40ii boost controller

Very nice. Is that a 3" PVC coupler on the turbo, looks like something we used :) So did you thread or weld the GMx actuator rod or weld it to the rod end that came with the HX40? And pics of that setup by itself? Now you need a PCM program that actually has a good boost curve. Stock...

Not all of them make their power at high RPMs, stock with the electronic DS4 is rated at 430ftlbs at 1800rpm. It can do a lot more. You can see this with the dyno sheet from a DS4 and GM4 turbo truck. That still make max hp at 3400rpm, but have flat torque from 2000 to 3400rpm. It depends...

You might actually surpass nmb2's dyno numbers after you turn up your stock pump a little and add water meth :) Then we will have to calculate the fuel to power ratio, and realize that it can be more efficient than thought.

Also, with less cyilnders there are a lot less movements up and down, less per revolution so stuff isnt moving as fast, so this will naturally also wear slower.

    Performance Tuning for the Tahoe

Thats why you need to know geometry ;) volume is area times height, so 85mm^2 x 4mm = 340mm^3 and maybe expect 270mm^3 output. I dont know the if the physical limits will alow that, or transfer pump pressure will be able to fill it fast enough, especially as RPMs increase and there is less...

    Performance Tuning for the Tahoe

If you use some math, I know, I know, you guys cant stand numbers and math, but it really does work. 0.29" diameter plungers. Each have an area of about 42.5 square millimeters. There are two of them so ~85mm^2 area. To get to 140mm^3 (aka 140cc per 1000 strokes) output the displacement...

You could give him a little credit for bending a few sets of rods, O-ring his engine, ect... not sure why someone would lie about lifting their heads and bending their rods? Thats not exactly what I call bragging, having to rebuild your engine 3 times a year.

    Performance Tuning for the Tahoe

You'll never learn, have you ever tried to compress air to 4000psi? Do you think your engine likes it any better? Engine A compresses to 3000psi, Engine B compresses to 4000psi, which is happier and will use more energy? Now what did compressing the air 1000 more psi gain me? Thats the...

    Performance Tuning for the Tahoe

I dont think you know how to read, so just stop commenting about my posts until you know what you are talking about. You guys never learn, its not volume you care about, its air mass, and how does that correlate to your fuel mass. Where the heck did I just mention caring about needing more air...

Would you recommend a gm turbo and spend the money for it? if so why or why not

The GM turbo meets the AFR requirements, and its of good quality, just the wrong application. Turn up the fuel and boost and it starts going out of the requirements. It was probably an engineer making calcualtions, with an environmentalist touting the black smoke concern, and a bean counter...

    506 block ?

Yeah, reject or red headed step child maybe I should have said. Put a 4 between the vertical lines and you have 141, but might have been some of the first 506 casts.

    Injector Nozzles

If you idle and cruise at low RPM a lot, then excessive pop pressure could wear out the IP faster, so it might be a tradeoff. The IP wont build more than pop pressure at idle, because it so low of a volume that it doesnt necessitate more pressure, it just need to get it to pop. So by making...

    Performance Tuning for the Tahoe

With 140cc at like 2500rpm, 110cc over 3000rpm, and 40psi of boost with 21:1 CR, its not hard to realize the 5-bolt pattern on the head isnt going to hold up. A design limit. With 40psi of boost at 21:1 CR the pressure at TDC would be about 3800psi before combustion. The engine probably...
