    stalling

This thread is over a year old. I guess not all the links stay open forever? After all the trouble and time(about 6mo later), I finally figured out what the real problem was. The contacts in the injector harness and the contacts that go to the injector pump were not making contact. I removed...

I haven't had a chance to touch it since I posted this. It won't be until tomorrow maybe Monday that I'll be able to do anything. It's a K@N filter. THANKS to all who posted.

    Smoke

Hi again. The question. My 95 6.5 TD throws black smoke as I accelerate. Once it speeds up, it stops the black smoke and clears up. Runs good otherwise. Thanks.

    Data Link Port

I never said anything about reading codes?? You did! The data port link is where the new key fob is programmed. The directions say to jumper #4 and #8 on the 16 pin port. My post said I have a 12 pin port and was wondering what ones I jumper to reset the fob. I thought someone might know if I...

Don't now about the error codes?? My code reader only works on the gassers. Usually I can tell what's wrong(burban) by the way it sounds

    Data Link Port

Hi all 1995 Burb 6.5L TD. I'm replacing the key fob for my vehicle. It only opens the door locks. The "data link port" is different than the one's I see when looking for re-setting directions. The ones I find are 16 hole and mine is a 12 hole. The directions on the 16 are insert a wire in #4...

    stalling

Went for a ride around the neighborhood(afraid to go far) did ok for the first five min. Then shut off like someone hit the key. But started right back up. 1 min later died again, got out and turned on the LP switch(from Leroy's harness) that I installed. Got home and was too hot to mess...

I did a code scan again. 29/36/49/57/62/91???? I search the motor for loose wires and questionable grounds!!! I found some but not positive they were actually loose. Maybe ??? I removed and replaced the connectors anyway. Tried to start and nothing. Then from the diagnostic tests the first thing...
